This Seiko Bellmatic all stainless steel automatic alarm watch is in awesome condition for its age, and completely original. It works perfectly, as does the alarm feature. The alarm winds manually with the crown at the 3, the automatic rotor winds the movement. The case back dates this watch to April 1972. The midnight blue, almost black gloss dial is pristine, the crystal is scratch free. The alarm trigger bezel moves counter clockwise by way of the main crown. The alarm set on/off knob at the 2 also acts as a quickset date feature (push in and turn lower crown in reverse, in time set position)). To set day turn hands past 1 AM (lower crown) until day changes then back up to 10 PM and again forward to next day. The watch measures 39mm wide. Nice reference 7742 stainless steel manual wind Girard-Perregaux alarm wristwatch. It’s one of the early Girard Perregaux alarm watches, dating to about 1961, from the case serial number between the lugs. It is equipped with an AS1475 movement (the work horse of many vintage alarms.) It is in great working condition; the alarm rings out loud and the watch keeps precise time. The dial and hands are original and it has the proper “A” alarm crown. The steel case is nice. The watch measures 35mm wide excluding the crowns. .

This recent (2017) Tudor alarm watch was inspired by the first Tudor Advisor made circa 1957, but at 42 mm it is a much larger watch and it has features the original did not have. First thing worth noting is that this is an automatic watch with a pointer date at the 6 0’clock position. The alarm itself is wound manually using the upper crown which also is used to set the alarm and a wind indicator to the left of 3 0’clock shows the amount of power left in the spring. On the left side of the case at 8 0’clock is a large button which turns the alarm on or off and this is displayed in the window on the dial to the right of 9 0’clock.
