Omega automatic dated by serial number to 1958 with a lovely evenly patined two tone piepan type dial and in a gold capped case. Watch is powered by a an Omega automatic caliber 500 in great working condition, the serial number on the movement dates the watch to 1958 and personalized engraving on case back is dated 1961. 1950’s Watch Advertisement

Vintage Omega Globemaster circa 1958 with original aged dial, cal 491 19 jewel automatic movement and gold filled Star case co case with stainless steel back. All the lettering on dial is crisp and perfectly intact, a small abrasion on crystal distorts lettering in some photos, look at all photos. The watch is in great working condition, the movement has just been serviced by our watchmaker and watch is ready to strap on to wrist. Omega Globemasters of this era are fairly rare, the name was only used in North America and only for a short period of time before being withdrawn because of a trademark dispute with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft who used the same name for one of their aircraft.
