This is a very rare and great looking stainless steel Omega military wristwatch with fixed lugs, broad arrow inscription, and manual wind 30T2 movement, it is fully signed on dial, case and crown and movement and has WWW markings both inside and outside the case. The dial appears to have had some restoration and looks very clean. Military watches like this are highly sought after and this is a rare one as it is also marked Seamaster on the dial which is not common, most are just marked Omega. Three facts have led to my conclusion that the watch dates to 1948. 1) The movement has a 10 million serial number which would usually be attributed to 1944 but was actually used in low production until 1951. 2). The dial is signed Seamaster which Omega first used in 1948. 3) The movement doesn’t have a 3 digit cal number, just the 30T2 under the balance wheel, Omega started using the 3 digit designation in 1949. The winding crown has the Omega logo but I believe that this is a replacement crown and the original had no logo. The manual wind movement has just been serviced by our watchmaker it is working well but running a bit slow. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 34 mm across (not including crown) x 45 mm lug to lug and is fit with a new black and grey striped Nato bracelet.
