1950’s Watch Advertisement

Vintage Omega Globemaster circa 1958 with original aged dial, cal 491 19 jewel automatic movement and gold filled Star case co case with stainless steel back. All the lettering on dial is crisp and perfectly intact, a small abrasion on crystal distorts lettering in some photos, look at all photos. The watch is in great working condition, the movement has just been serviced by our watchmaker and watch is ready to strap on to wrist. Omega Globemasters of this era are fairly rare, the name was only used in North America and only for a short period of time before being withdrawn because of a trademark dispute with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft who used the same name for one of their aircraft. The Omega Globemaster name went dormant for over 50 years until it was reintroduced in 2015. Photos are magnified and show details not seen by naked eye, the case measures 33 mm across (not including crown) x 37 mm lug to lug.
