Original 1930’s vintage LeCoultre Reverso Fine and unusual, center-seconds, rectangular, stainless steel “Staybrite” gentleman’s wristwatch. This is a hard to find and highly collectable antique wristwatch (not a modern reproduction) with original aged dial. The ‘Reverso’ was the world’s first ‘sports watch’ and was favored by polo players in the 30’s – the flip over design was intended to protect the crystal from breaking during physical activity. Also it should be noted that this watch, unlike most vintage reversos, has never been engraved on the flip side. The watch has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition.
