This Croton Alert wrist alarm by Croton Grenchen Nivada has a great looking original dial and a case with nicely flared lugs. We estimate that this watch was produced between 1958 – 1962.
The watch has two crowns, the upper crown sets and winds alarm and also turns it on and off. The manual wind movement is signed Croton Nivada Grenchen and is an A. Schild 1475 17 jewels with Incabloc shock protection. Photos are not actual size of watch, the case measures 33 mm across (not including crowns) x 42 mm lug to lug and is fit with a new old stock leather bracelet.
