1950’s Watch Advertisement
Produced circa 1955 this vintage Seamaster Calendar automatic with case reference 2849-1 was part of the 1956 International collection. The case is stainless steel, not recently polished and has original signed crown. The dial is original has a even patina. The cal.503 movement was recently serviced and is accurate within seconds per day. Note the 14 million serial number (14897326) would date this watch to 1954 according to published lists but these lists are not 100% accurate and the case number indicates 1956, therefor we have deducted that it was produced in 1955 for sale in 1956. Photos are magnified and show details not seen by naked eye, the case measures 34 mm across (not including crown) x 42 mm lug to lug.
