1960’s Watch Advertisement
Glycine Airman SST (SuperSonic Transport) automatic ref #323.1219 displaying 24 hour time and with split black /grey dial to indicate AM or PM time and orange rotating inner bezel. Watch dates to 1968 and was used and very popular with Vietnam war pilots and was often referred to as an Airman Pumpkin because of orange color of bezel. The AS 2163 movement is in excellent working condition and has hack feature for precise setting. The dial, hands, crowns are all original and the case has no signs of heavy polishing. The orange and black Nato textile bracelet nicely complements this fine timepiece.
