1950’s Watch Advertisement
This stainless steel Omega Seamaster with cal 490 automatic movement was part of the 1956 Omega International collection. The dial is mint condition and has been professionally refinished. The crown was replaced at some point with a larger military type crown and is unsigned. The case has some minor scratches on the back from normal usage and the engraved word Seamaster is still faintly visible, on the inside the reference number 2848 1. The 17 jewel movement has serial number 14668942 is in excellent working condition and was serviced by our watchmaker.
Photos are not actual size of watch, the case measures 34 mm across (not including crown) x 42 mm lug to lug and is fit with a new drab green nylon military strap.
