This Royal Canadian Air force pilot’s watch was issued in 1942, it is ¾ or boy’s size which was very popular with military men of the second world war and is sought after by vintage watch collectors today even though it is small by today’s standards This WW2 timepiece was made by Waltham U.S.A., it is in a chrome and stainless case and uses a high quality 26 jewels Waltham Premier movement, which is protected by an inner dust cover and is in excellent working condition. This watch doesn’t have the outer case markings usually expected with similar RCAF issued timepieces, it somehow was skipped, probably was rushed into service and the recipient was supposed to return at a later date to have it engraved and ever did. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 31 mm across (not including crown) x 37 mm lug to lug. Watch is fit with a new leather bracelet.
