This Antique Elgin Hunter case key wind/key set pocket watch has been dated by serial number to 1885, it is 130 years old and in great working condition! The porcelain dial is in perfect condition without any hairlines, which is very rare for a watch of this age.The case is yellow gold filled, it has thick solid covers, front and back and a dust cover on the movement side. To wind the watch open the back cover, insert key in hole in dust cover and turn clockwise until spring is fully wound. To set the time open front cover (by pushing crown) then pry open bezel that holds crystal and place key directly over axis of hands and turn to correct time. The movement has just been cleaned and lubricated by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition. Photos are not actual size of watch, the case measures 60 mm across x 80 mm from base to top of loop, the key is on a short chain.
