This early 1940’s vintage Solar Aqua was made by Rolex and marketed by Eaton’s, it is signed inside the case (R.W.C. Ltd) and under the dial (Rolex Geneve), which is typical of the 59 series movements used in many of these Canadian market 3/4 size Rolex Oyster watches of the era. The screw down crown is functioning as it should and is marked Oyster Patent. The dial of this collectable timepiece is original and in good condition, the inner track with numbers 13 – 24 in red is faded and difficult to see, military engraving on back of watch is also faint due to wear and polishing but appears to be the initials C.H.R. and date 25. ?. 42 , the month (?) is not visible but year (42) is quite clear. This watch was recently serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition. Small men’s watches like this are also suitable for women, please verify the measurements. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 30 mm across (not including crown) x 39 mm lug to lug and is fit with a new green leather bracelet (if requested by buyer we can change for a brown or black bracelet)
