Waltham gold filled antique large size transitional ladies watch with porcelain dial, the production year of this USA made vintage watch is 1909 according to it’s styling and serial number (17723103). The manual wind movement of this 100 year old timepiece is in excellent working condition. The term “transitional watch” refers to watches made during the time that pocket watches and pendant watches were evolving into wristwatches, this watch looks like a miniature pocket/pendant watch but with the addition of a bracelet. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 32 mm across (not including crown) x 36 mm lug to lug. Watch is fit as found with it’s original antique gold filled link bracelet with adjustable clasp.
