Very attractive Record Geneve triple date moonphase from the 50’s in a stainless steel case with thick pink gold plating to the lug tops and bezel. At almost 36mm in width excluding the crown, this is one of the largest Record cases I’ve seen, and it is in beautiful shape. The unusual 3-tone copper/salmon dial has small gold colour markers for the numbers and a blue date ring which all help to add visual appeal. The hands are the original Record signature hands. The watch works with a strong beat and keeps excellent time, and is powered by the traditional c107 calibre. The one flaw to this watch worth noting is in reference to the day/month discs, which do not appear to me to be original; at least they are not in keeping with true Record Geneve styles. The month dial is manually moved, and turns backwards? The day/month discs are in Spanish. The watch is 3x signed – on the movement, dial and case. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 35.5 mm across (not including crown) x 42 mm lug to lug and is fit with a new leather bracelet.
