A very interesting and unusual antique vintage Illinois watch with seconds at “9”, dated by serial number to 1929 and with it’s original dial. All Illinois movements from this period where cased in “contract cases”, this Star case company case is pink gold filled and has a white base metal back. The high quality manual wind 15 jewels Illinois movement has the serial number 5,262741 indicating production year to be approximately 1929, two years after the company was purchased by Hamilton (1927). This horological antique has been serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 27 mm across (not including crown) x 37 mm lug to lug and is fit with a new leather bracelet
