Great looking antique Illinois wrist-watch made in 1929 the last year of the roaring twenties and the same year of the stock market crash that led to the great depression. Two years earlier (1927) Illinois Watch company had been purchased by Hamilton but watches with the Illinois name were made throughout the great depression and up until the end of the second world war. The 17 jewels Illinois Springfield winding movement, in signed, engraved, stainless steel case, has been serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 30mm across (not including crown) x 38mm lug to lug, and is fit with a leather bracelet.
