Early vintage, very large Minerva one button chronograph with skeletonized back and porcelain dial. This is a circa 1920’s transitional timepiece, possibly used by a German pilot and made at the time when the transition from pocket to wristwatch was being made. The chronograph is unusual in that the chrono hand runs at double speed (circles dial every 30 seconds) of the constant seconds. This is a great looking early timepiece and very desirable collector’s item, it is signed Minerva on the dial. The skeletonized (see thru) back is an interesting feature which allows one to see the movement without opening the back of the watch. This chronograph has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition. Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 50mm across (not including crown) x –mm lug to lug. Watch is fit with a good condition used leather bracelet.
