Vintage Calendar watches with moonphase display from the 1940’s like this Montrose are prized by collectors and in high demand. This is a very nice example with it’s scrolling lugs and mint professionally refinished dial. The case is showing some wear thru on the four lugs which gives a bit of a two tone effect that is not unpleasant and looks correct for a vintage timepiece such as this. The day and month are displayed in French. Watch is signed Montrose on the dial and 17 jewel Swiss movement. This watch has been serviced by our watchmaker and is in excellent working condition, and has been fit with a new blue leather strap (can be changed on request). Photos are not actual size of watch, it measures 33mm across (not including crown) x 40mm lug to lug.
