This military style oversized Omega is a real collector’s item, and a very difficult watch to find. Watch has hack feature – movement is stopped when crown is pulled out to allow for precision setting required for military use. This type of Omega is most often seen with military markings of RCAF (Royal Canadian Air Force), however this particular watch was not used by the air force -it was purchased from the original owner who was a navigator in a private airline in Canada in the mid 50’s. The watch is all stainless steel. The dial is in above average condition, it may have been refinished some years ago, it has a slight greenish patina around the edge. The hands are the luminous type that light up in the dark. Watch is fitted with a new leather bracelet. Measures 37 x 46 mm (not including crown).
